![[image] [image]](http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm304/faithflame/sleepy.png) Smaller then the great clearing but oddly a nicer place to be. It is not too open, and yet there are few trees. The meadow is filled with flowers, and the scent on a hot summers day can make a wolf very drowsy. A good area for hunting, but the best place of all to train and spar, due to the sandy pit in the center that use to be a tiny lake. A small stream runs through the meadow. ![[image] [image]](http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm304/faithflame/darkwood.png) A pinewood forest, often with an underlying mist... Not good for hunting, as only squirrels and birds can be found here, but it is quiet and peaceful. Wolves often come here to think, hold private conversations, to hide and to do things in secrecy. ![[image] [image]](http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm304/faithflame/eversmile.png) Deciduous trees, grassy clearings, crystal clear streams and fast flowing rivers. Very good area for fishing, and for building dens, as in one area a formation of rocks form caves, and around them hollowed out rocks are dotted around. Wolves have clearly lived here for centuries... And have means of cutting caves into rock. Moderator: Keeta | 1 | 2 | on Nov 16, 2008, 12:29pm by Wolflover1458 in A little scenery [Aww] |

![[image] [image]](http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm304/faithflame/greatclear.png) Simply named and a perfect description. It is certainly a very vast clearing, with only a few trees or boulders dotting the scene. It is the perfect meeting place, but it is also useful for hunting, as deer and rabbit are often found around here. Moderator: Keeta | 0 | 0 | |

![[image] [image]](http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm304/faithflame/withers.png) The outskirts of the territory, where the forest ends. Wolves wait here before daring to cross into packlands, if a pack is currently inhabiting them, that is. Prey is slim here and it is not so nice to stop for a rest, as there is little cover. ![[image] [image]](http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm304/faithflame/moonbrush.png) A small patch of woodland at the end of the mountains, filled with silver-barked trees in amongst the browns. At night time, the sight of all the silver bark is breath-takingl. Many beautiful little streams cut through the wood, trailing down from the mountains. ![[image] [image]](http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm304/faithflame/arilyn.png) Gently sloping plain lands surrounding the mountains. Grass is thick and a luscious green, rabbits and mountain goat come here to graze, as does the odd reindeer and moose. A steady stream flows downwards, and in the winter it tends to flood and pose a danger to wolves hunting. Moderator: Keeta | 2 | 22 | on Jan 1, 2009, 8:06pm by Massuguma in Looking for others... |
![[ ]](http://s2.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Blazed End (1 sub-board)
![[image] [image]](http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm304/faithflame/blazed.png) The network of caves at the base of the mountains, an easy, warm, sheltered place for any wolf to live, and carefully concealed. There are also paths leading up into the mountain, and secret little indents in the mountain side where wolves can hide or stash what they like. To wolves that are unfamiliar with the territory, it simply looks like a steep mountain, a dead end. It gets it names from both that, and also from the reddish-rock it seems to be made of. ![[ ]](http://s2.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Demon's Dirge
![[image] [image]](http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm304/faithflame/demons.png) Pitted rocks create a mournful whistling sound whenever wind blows, up through the trails and grassy patches of the mountain. Anywhere a wolf can walk is known as part of the Dirge. Hunting varies, though mostly one finds mountain goats and birds of prey. ![[ ]](http://s2.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Steep Sign
![[image] [image]](http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm304/faithflame/wither.png) The quickest way to the first territory is through Steep Sign pass, so named for the steep drop to the side. The trail is wide enough for three wolves to comfortably walk across, but the threat of the edge looms over many who are not used to mountain climbing.
